This case study is about designing a mobile application for a gym to help users keep track of their fitness goals and routines.

About the Project

Our team was approached by a Surge Fitness Lifestyle to design a mobile application that would enable users to keep track of their fitness routines and goals. The gym had a large number of members who were struggling to stay motivated and track their progress, and they felt that a mobile app could help.

Problem Statement

The gym members were struggling to stay motivated and track their progress due to the lack of a convenient and accessible tool. Many of them were using paper and pen or relying on memory to keep track of their workouts, which made it difficult to monitor their progress and make adjustments to their routines.

Goal

  • The goal of the project was to design a mobile application that would make it easy for gym members to track their fitness goals and routines.
  • The app needed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and provide users with clear visual feedback on their progress.
  • To enhance user retention, provide a consistently delightful and captivating user experience.
  • To keep the app up-to-date and appealing to users, incorporate new features and updates.

Outcomes

The Surge app Ul/UX design enable users to keep track of their fitness routines and goals. The following are the outcomes of this project:

  • The app should allow users to log their measurement based on workouts, including the type of exercise, duration, and intensity. This will help users stay motivated by seeing their progress over time.
  • The app should enable users to set fitness goals and track their progress towards them. This could include goals like lifting a certain weight, or completing a certain number of workouts in a week.
  • The app could offer users personalized workout plans based on their fitness level, goals, and preferences. This will help users stay on track and avoid getting bored with their workouts.

These are just a few examples of outcomes for a Surge gym mobile app could deliver. The key is to focus on providing the most valuable features that will help users achieve their fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
